The Dolphin I Met!

A high five for Katelina!

Hello readers! Today I want to tell you about the dolphin I met! Her name is Katelina. I high-fived her, asked her for her fast swim, fed her, and stroked her back. I also got to go on stage, in front of a crowd with about 10,000 people, and did all those things.

I didn't get to ride a dolphin, like a trainer would, but it was still fun. Katelina felt like rubber. She was really smooth and talented. I liked feeding her a lot. She performed well with me and I was glad I got to be the special guest. Katelina is the best dolphin I ever could have seen in my life.

She is a Pacific White-Sided dolphin. She's really cute, in my opinion. It was cool to see how she jumped up in the water like a human without pushing off the bottom of the tank.

I really liked meeting Katelina. She's a very talented dolphin and if you ever get the chance, please meet Katelina and her trainer. Her trainer is very nice.

San Antonio

Coming up next is... the Alamo!

San Antonio, here I come!

Hello readers! Today I want to talk about my visit to San Antonio! It was great. So first, I saw my hotel room and went to the pool with my cousins that came with me and my mom. Then, we went to SeaWorld on the second day and my cousins left on that day.. And the third day, which is today, I went to the Alamo and got to go to the riverwalk.

Me and my mom also ate ice cream and on the boat at the riverwalk, I took, like, 77 pictures of really interesting things. One of the pictures was a building that looked like it was going to fall on the boat. It was reeeeeeeeeeeeeeaaaaaaaaaaaallllllllllllllyyyyyyyy tall. About 798 square feet! I don't know, I'm assuming it's 798 square feet, but who cares?! It's the beauty of the tallness that catches the eye.

The Alamo was fun. I got to watch a 17-minute clip about the battle between the owners of the Alamo and the Mexicans. America won, and during that battle, Sam Houston was in it, and he yelled three words that still live on today. 'Remember the Alamo'.

There was a museum in the Alamo that held all the items the defenders of the Alamo battled with. Guns, knives, any weapon you can ever imagine. There were also cannon spheres that were launched from the cannon the Americans stole from the Mexicans.

You can visit the Alamo in San Antonio, which is about five hours away from where I live, and an hour and thirty minutes from Austin.

Hamster Update

Hello readers! Today I want to tell you the update on my hamster, Teddy. He just recently escaped, and I'm still the slightest bit mad at him. But it was also my fault he went under our stove. We got him back on the day he escaped. If you have a hamster, has he/she already escaped? It's fine if you can't comment because of your hamster. Just do it later.

Since I'll be at San Antonio for three days, I need to give my dad a schedule. First thing in the morning, he needs to change Teddy's food. Teddy eats all night. Every morning, I notice that his food bowl is empty.

Teddy's still doing fine. No injuries or anything, just escaped. Maybe he breathed in a bit of dust, but he'll probably drop it out of his tushy. Or cough it out or something. I don't know.

SUMMER VACATION!!!!

Hooray, summer!

Hello readers! IT'S BEEN MY FIRST FIVE MINUTES OF SUMMER VACATION!!!!! I can't wait to go to Seaworld. What are you going to do? I really miss my teacher, though. Still, I'll meet new friends and a new teacher.

My friend Snehitha went to Seaworld before. I hope I'll get to see a blue whale! Probably not. I am hoping I'll see an angelfish, and a shark, and a stingray, too! Have you been to Seaworld before? What have you seen?

Where do you think you'll go? What are you going to do there? I wanted to go to China, but it's too expensive. San Antonio isn't that far from where I live. I'm going to the Seaworld there.

Beanie Boos and Beanie Babies

Hello readers! Today I'm going to be talking about beanie boos and beanie babies. Have you ever wondered about the difference between beanie boos and beanie babies? Well, you're not alone. I can't tell, either! 

My guess is that Beanie Babies are the mini ones. My friend Clara has two Beanie Babies. My friend Anna brought one Beanie Boo to school today. I'm going to bring my Beanie Boo tomorrow. His name is Buckwheat. He looks like a lynx, but I don't know what he is. My dad thinks he looks like a cat.

Dangerous E-Mails

Hello readers!! Today I need to tell you something really important!! Hackers are sending links that you shouldn't click. Unless it's a link from me or someone you know, DO NOT CLICK IT!!!! The links that you click on might send a virus onto your computer and hackers could steal all of your information.

Links from someone you don't know are also called dangerous E-mails. Some links from a commenter on your blog (if you have one) could be dangerous, even if that person already commented a nice comment.

You don't know these people, so don't trust them. The links I put on my blog aren't so dangerous because they lead to one the websites I know that don't have a large chance of having a virus or one of the posts I've made.

Hackers can create something called a Botnet. They can do it by infecting thousands, maybe millions of computers and laptops. Botnets are dangerous, so don't use your computer whenever you think your computer is hacked. Your computer will be slow and laggy, so don't use it until you have updated your computer with a company like Sprint or Verizon Wireless.

You should have a talk with the worker and agree about things like if your computer is acting strangely or is lagging. They will help you and after they fix it, learn a lesson and don't do what you did to get the virus on your computer.

Technology Night

Technology night! Woop woop!

Hello readers! Today I want to talk about Technology Night! Technology night is a night where you can play and learn about technology, I guess. But my dad said that I am going to have a room called 'The Blogging Room'. It's where I'm going to be able to make awesome posts for you fans!

I don't really know anything about tonight, since I'm going in the future. But I'm sure it's going to be a lot of fun! Question is, what am I going to type on? I always add in pictures on my posts, so I can't do it on a iPad, and maybe I can do it on a laptop, but where do I find the laptop cart? I'm sure the teacher that owns the classroom won't let me use her computer, because I might mess it up!

Well, I'm sure that I'll figure it out when I get there, and at least I'm going to have a second grade blog! It's going to be educational, and maybe I can add in some fun things. But having my own room is going to be awesome!

I Got a Hamster!

He looks so innocent and cute! How could anybody get mad at him?

Hello readers! Today I want to talk about my hamster! His name is Teddy. He's really, really cute. If you look at the picture above, it looks almost exactly like Teddy. Teddy is three months old. He's long for his age, though. I like holding him, and he poops a lot!

It was my birthday a couple of days ago, and I got him yesterday. One of my mom's clients wanted to donate their hamster to me because it was my birthday. They're really nice. When I try to hold him, he always wants to escape, but I just put him in his hamster ball or back in his cage after he gets really squirmy.

I was at a birthday party when it all happened. I was playing with my friends, and then my mom picked me up. When she took me to the car, she opened the trunk. And there was Teddy. Just in case you want to know what his birthday is, I don't know. My mom never asked.

Summer Accomplishments

Yay! Summer is almost here!

Hello readers! Today I want to talk about summer accomplishments! What's one of your summer accomplishments? Mine is learning how to balance on a surfboard! Definitely not at the beach. The pool is better. Also, I want learn how to cook! It's fun and delicious! Hard work, nice treat!

How do you think you're going to accomplish your goals? It takes hard work and studying. And lots and lots of practice. Not just two weeks! Maybe two months! Maybe two years! I don't know. Running a 22 mile marathon? Okay. You can have any accomplishment you want!

Sometimes people can't do their goals. You can! Just believe or try again when you're older. Nothing is impossible. Except for flying, of course. And having powers. And having Pokemon exist. But, well, there are some things that are impossible, and lots that aren't.

Some goals are hard to reach, like learning how to walk. Maybe if you're a baby, it is. But goals are easy and hard to reach.

Pokemon

So, so cute!!

Hello readers! Today I want to talk about Pokemon. There are eighteen different types. Normal, water, grass, rock, bug, fairy, fire, psychic, flying, electric, ice, poison, dark, dragon, ghost, steel, ground, and fighting. There are Pokemon cards, Pokemon books, Pokemon shows, and much more will be made in the future.

Some kids like my friend Kyle really like Pokemon. Some people want to, instead of becoming a Pokemon Master or a Pokemon Professor, they want to be a Pokemon expert. It's really not that hard. I want to be a Pokemon expert. I already have a book that has over 700 Pokemon, Legendary, Mythical, and all types! Let me know in the comments who your favorite Pokemon is!

My favorites are Mawile and Pachirisu. Mawile is the Deciever Pokemon. Pachirisu is the Ele Squirrel Pokemon.

Monopoly

Token time!

Hello readers! Today I want to talk about my Monopoly game! I finally got it yesterday after my birthday party. It's Token Madness. The rules aren't any different. It's just that you have both sets of players: the gold set and the silver set.

I always lose to my dad, though! The money you get is $500, $100, $50, $1, $5, $10, and $20. It's really fun! If you land on the blue chest, you pick from the community chest pile. If you land on the question mark with the orange background, you get to pick from the chance pile. The best color sets are the most expensive, and the worst are the cheapest. Dark blue is the best, and brown is the worst.

If you want to win the game, start buying a lot of properties. Then, your opponent will have to pay you a lot, and they are going to end up with no money at all. If your opponent buys the dark blue color set, which there are only two properties, then think about what properties you should buy. If you have the right strategy, you are going to win.

But you can't take any random amount of money you want. On the second page of your directions, there's how much of each dollar you take. Don't worry if things start to look tough. Everything just might turn around and you'll end up being the one winning. Being the worst changes to being the best.

Winning every time wins you a lottery ticket. Losing every time gives you practice. If you win and lose, you still might want to practice. Who knows? You might end up giving your practice time to your opponent. So that's extra time for them, and next time, you'll lose, and then after that, you'll lose. Then after that. So, practice if you want to earn a lottery ticket.
